Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Financial Manager:

  • Supervise all financial activities of the manufacturing facility, encompassing budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Establish and uphold standard costing frameworks to accurately assess and report production expenses.
  • Evaluate and analyze production costs, discrepancies, and inventory assessments to pinpoint opportunities for cost reductions and efficiency enhancements.

  • Provide financial insights and assistance to facility managers and other departments.
  • Lead and mentor a team of two accounting professionals, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.

Required Qualifications of the Manufacturing Financial Manager:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. CPA or CMA certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a manufacturing setting, with a strong emphasis on costing and financial analysis.
  • Comprehensive understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory management.
  • Proficiency in larger ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
