Position Overview

The College Access Consultant plays a pivotal role in providing personalized college counseling services to students. This position focuses on empowering low-income and middle-class high school seniors to navigate the college application process effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct Student Support: Deliver one-on-one guidance to a designated group of high school seniors, primarily on-site at their respective schools, with occasional virtual support as needed.
  • College List Development: Assist students in creating a tailored list of colleges that align with their academic profiles and financial considerations.
  • Essay Assistance: Support students in brainstorming, drafting, and refining their college application essays.
  • Application Management: Help students identify and complete any outstanding application materials throughout the academic year.
