Job Title: Territory Sales Representative

Bausch + Lomb is a leading global eye health company dedicated to protecting and enhancing the gift of sight for millions of people around the world. We are seeking a motivated and experienced sales professional to join our dry eye sales team.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  • Utilize account management selling approaches to promote dry eye pharmaceutical products.
  • Develop an understanding of account-specific roles and responsibilities to impact prescribing patterns and availability of therapies for patients.
  • Use clinical selling techniques to bring value and influence customer thinking about treatment and patient management.
  • Manage promotional budgets and determine expenditures on promotional activities within business plans.
  • Follow account call plans on ophthalmologists and optometrists based on assessment of prescription activity and potential growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure account needs are met.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze market trends and competitors' activities to identify opportunities for growth.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of directly related experience.
  • Proven track record of success with documented performance in top 30% of sales force over last two years.
  • Prior experience in key account management roles preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability of strong collaboration and leadership within a team.
  • Required residence in territory geography.
  • Knowledge of ophthalmology required.
  • Demonstrated competency with studies/clinical reprints and other third-party proof sources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business trade journals, professional journals, and financial reports.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills necessary.
  • Ability to effectively present complex clinical information to healthcare professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Valid driver's license to travel to customer locations within assigned territory.
  • Some overnight travel will be required.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
