Key Responsibilities- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient appointment schedules, ensuring seamless communication with staff and physicians.
- Coordinate the check-in process, verifying patient information and obtaining necessary signatures in accordance with NEMG policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Manage electronic medical records and maintain accurate and complete documentation, adhering to NEMG policies and procedures.
- Perform various administrative tasks, including message retrieval, voicemail, fax distribution, filing, and photocopying.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development and implementation of process improvements.
- High School degree or equivalent required.
- 1 year of administrative healthcare experience or 2 years of administrative office experience required.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- EMR experience preferred and working knowledge of Microsoft office applications required.
