Job Summary

Beckett Thermal Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Manager to lead our accounting team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of accountants, providing coaching, counseling, and guidance to ensure the team's success.
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage payroll operations, including processing payroll, benefits, and time-off requests.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
  • Prepare and publish timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Support the variance analysis of monthly actuals vs forecast.
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting, including tax returns and other financial reports.
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process.
  • Lead the annual audit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
Requirements
  • Proven working experience as a Financial Controller or similar role.
  • 8+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.
  • Advanced degree in Accounting.
  • CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience with creating financial statements.
  • Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year end close process.
  • Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.
  • Proven aptitude for working well cross-functionally with multiple business stakeholders.
