About the Role:

Beckett Thermal Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Operations Manager to lead our accounting team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing all accounting operations, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of accountants by providing coaching, guidance, and support to ensure the successful completion of financial tasks and projects.
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including financial statement preparation, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, and financial analysis.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis.
  • Lead the annual audit process and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of combined accounting and finance experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Advanced degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
  • Experience with financial software and systems, including general ledger functions and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
