Position Overview:
The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of the Imaging Section at Nashville General Hospital. This full-time position is focused on ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate patient scheduling and manage daily assignments for the Imaging Technologists.
- Serve as a primary resource for staff within the Radiology Department, providing guidance and support.
- Recommend enhancements to procedures, policies, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Facilitate training and development for Imaging Technologists, ensuring they are informed about technological advancements.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings while maintaining operations within budgetary constraints.

Daily Duties Include:
- Ensuring seamless section activities and offering assistance to team members as needed.
- Providing expertise in decision-making, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
- Acting as the liaison for hospital staff, physicians, patients, and their families.
- Updating imaging protocols and communicating changes to the team.
- Monitoring equipment functionality and coordinating necessary repairs.
- Developing and enhancing the imaging skills of staff members.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a leadership or management role within Nuclear Medicine.
- Possession of Nuclear Medicine certification (NMTCB) is required.
- BLS Certification must be obtained upon hire.
