About this Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Compliance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, conducting field audits, and providing training and education to our employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Field Audits and Inspections
Conduct regular field audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Provide Safety Training and EducationDevelop and deliver safety training programs to ensure that employees have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their jobs safely.
Investigate Incidents and Near MissesConduct thorough investigations of incidents and near misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
Develop and Implement Safety Policies and ProceduresDevelop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Collaborate with Management and EmployeesWork closely with management and employees to ensure that safety is integrated into all aspects of our operations.
Requirements
- Associate Degree or Equivalent
A minimum of an associate degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
Knowledge of Safety RegulationsKnowledge of OSHA regulations and industry standards.
Excellent Communication SkillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
Bilingual in SpanishBilingual in Spanish is strongly preferred.
