Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Insurance Underwriting Consultant to join our team. As an Insurance Underwriting Consultant, you will be responsible for consulting workstream delivery, solving open-ended problems, and providing strong quantitative reasoning, data analysis, and presentation capabilities. You will also have underwriting domain knowledge, including relevant technology context.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adapt existing methods and procedures to create possible alternative solutions to moderately complex problems.
  • Understand the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals.
  • Use considerable judgment to determine solution and seek guidance on complex problems.
  • Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor. May interact with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture.
  • Determine methods and procedures on new assignments with guidance. Decisions often impact the team in which they reside.
  • Manage small teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture.
  • Travel 80% (4 days per week)
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of underwriting / risk management experience with understanding of capability needs to serve the Underwriting of the future.
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
Compensation:

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
