Reinsurance Director

Aon is seeking a seasoned professional to lead its Reinsurance Solutions Line in Chicago or Houston. As a Managing Director, Facultative Reinsurance, you will be responsible for driving innovation and delivering exceptional client service.

• Contribute significantly to the company's success through revenue growth, strategic product development, and enhancement of professional image and expertise.
• Focus on new Facultative broking production, developing sales and marketing strategies to cultivate revenue opportunities.
• Evaluate department efficiency using key business parameters and maintain high client satisfaction results.
• Grow existing accounts, seek new opportunities, and achieve placement goals at or above set levels.
• Establish credibility with clients through day-to-day interactions and demonstrate problem-solving techniques to meet client needs.
• Set realistic expectations and timelines with clients, produce results, and adhere to Aon processes and procedures.
• Lead a team of professionals, mentor, and develop people to maximum potential.
• Champion a team approach to internal and external business relationships and handle T&E expenses within corporate guidelines.

• A minimum of 12 years broking and/or underwriting commercial lines experience, with a focus on property insurance.
• Previous experience in leading direct reports and exceptional interpersonal skills to interact with major clients.
• Strong market presence within the broking industry, excellent communication skills, and an ambitious attitude with high accountability for profitability and client satisfaction.
• Excellent organization and time management skills, ability to multi-task, and lead projects and direct reports.
• Ability to drive teams to deliver high client service, quality, and results, and make sound business decisions.
