IT Compliance Specialist

Candidate will be responsible for ensuring technical compliance and maintaining security posture across the organization. This involves performing technical diligence on prospective targets and coordinating remediation of security and compliance-related diligence items. The ideal candidate will have a technical background sufficient to understand modern technology controls and concepts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and track remediation of all gaps identified as part of the due diligence (DD) process
  • Work with internal teams or 3rd party vendors to track key findings from risk assessments and pen tests on all acquired company assets, from discovery to remediation
  • Identify gaps in security posture for network, data and application interfaces
  • Remediate identified gaps and maintain ongoing status and documentation tracking security and compliance posture of each entity

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management
  • Exceptional organization skills, tracking many initiatives and their statuses
  • Professional communication, working extensively with business partners across the enterprise
  • Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
