Environmental Compliance Specialist

At VetJobs, we're seeking an experienced Environmental Compliance Manager to join our team. This role is a critical part of our organization's commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with site teams to understand environmentally relevant operations, programs, and reporting obligations.
• Identify and implement centralized environmental data collection systems to support streamlined compliance reporting for manufacturing sites.
• Coordinate and communicate effectively with corporate resources and site teams related to new/emerging environmental programs, regulatory obligations, and corresponding reporting as necessary.
• Lead efforts to ensure site environmental compliance programs remain current, including ISO 14001 EMS documentation.
• Develop an EP NA US site environmental compliance reporting dashboard with KPIs and metrics to track environmental compliance deliverables and on-time reporting.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, chemistry, environmental science, or a related technical degree.
• 10+ years' experience as an environmental compliance professional responsible for data collection, preparation, and submission of Toxic Release Inventory (TRI), Tier II, and RCRA reports.
• Project management and organizational skills to assess and mitigate project-related environmental compliance risks.
• Ability to analyze data, recognize business impact, and communicate trends.
• Familiarity with ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System and corresponding requirements as it relates to environmental compliance.
• Experience with Data Analytics and Visualization Software a plus (Tableau, Power BI).
• Proficient in the use of MS Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Excellent verbal and written skills.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.

VetJobs offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees. The pay range for this position is $93,200 - $159,900. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
