Job Title: SEC Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:

Tolleson Wealth Management is seeking a highly skilled SEC Compliance Specialist to administer our Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) investment adviser compliance program. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and be able to conduct ongoing compliance monitoring and testing to prevent, detect, and correct securities law violations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer the SEC compliance program, ensuring compliance with regulations and controls.
  • Conduct research on various rules, review risk alerts, and participate in industry conferences and webinars.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to review marketing materials and other firm deliverables for compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support the administration of the firm's Code of Ethics through our automated compliance monitoring system.
  • Develop and prepare training for employees on compliance responsibilities.
  • Prepare and submit required regulatory filings for SEC, state, and other industry regulators.
  • Coordinate external custody audits and other audits as needed.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of SEC compliance experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite and experience with CRM and MyComplianceOffice (MCO) a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good team player with demonstrable thoroughness and ability to work independently when necessary.
  • Must consent to and have a favorable consumer report and background check.
  • Ability to maintain extreme confidentiality.
