Position Title: Lead Teller

Department: Retail Banking

Classification: Non-Exempt

Compensation: $22.26 per hour based on experience, plus unlimited monthly incentives.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver exceptional member service by accurately processing transactions and actively promoting our products and services, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and more.
  2. Assist the Branch Supervisor/Manager in maintaining ATMs and vaults, training new staff, and managing opening/closing procedures.
  3. In the absence of the Branch Supervisor, oversee branch operations, ensuring smooth functionality and staff management.
  4. Encourage cross-selling of Credit Union products and services while mentoring teller staff on the importance of these opportunities.
  5. Prepare the monthly audit package for managerial review.
  6. Perform duties in compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as Credit Union policies.
  7. Propose enhancements to workflows and quality measures.
  8. Carry out additional job-related responsibilities as assigned.

  • Accurately balancing your cash drawer daily.
  • Processing a consistent volume of transactions efficiently.
  • Resolving inquiries from customers and internal stakeholders promptly and accurately.
  • Identifying suitable products and services to enhance member satisfaction.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance and work environment.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED, complemented by two years of customer service and cashier experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge: Familiarity with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements and compliance protocols.

Experience: Proficient in using PC-based software, including Microsoft Office.

Skills: Strong customer service and communication abilities; bilingual skills are a plus.
