Education and Community Liaison

The Program Development Specialist will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing educational programs for youth, focusing on STEAM, social-emotional learning, and health/wellness principles.
- Collaborating with families to set individualized student goals, track progress, and celebrate milestones.
- Mentoring and supervising volunteers, interns, and part-time staff, ensuring their alignment with program goals and fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Acting as a point of contact for resolving conflicts or addressing challenges involving students, parents, or staff.
- Contributing to program evaluations, feedback sessions, and strategy meetings to enhance program effectiveness and innovation.
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Education, Youth Development, Social Work, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with youth in educational or community-based settings.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills in both languages.
- Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and experience working with diverse populations, particularly Spanish speakers and English Language Learners (ELL).
The annual salary for this position is $50,000, with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, flexible spending accounts, and a 403(b)-retirement plan with employer matching.
