Job Title: Child Welfare Coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Welfare Coordinator to join our team at Lutheran Services Florida. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing full wrap-around case management services to our clients and families.

About the Role:

The Child Welfare Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Providing case management services to families and children in need
  • Developing and implementing case plans to ensure the safety and well-being of children
  • Collaborating with community resources and service providers to ensure comprehensive support for families
  • Documenting all case activities and maintaining accurate records
  • Participating in court activities and providing testimony as necessary
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field (Social Work preferred)
  • At least one year of relevant experience in child welfare or a related field
  • Certification in child welfare case management (or ability to become certified within one year)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
