Case Manager Supervisor

Lutheran Services Florida (LSF) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Case Manager Supervisor to join our team. As a Case Manager Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and monitoring the work of an assigned group of workers under your direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement performance standards and job duty expectations with workers
- Communicate worker compliance with expectations on a regular basis
- Review each case in the unit caseload on a quarterly basis, including a one-on-one discussion with the assigned case manager
- Monitor and direct the day-to-day work of case managers, including completion of home visits, tracking tools, court documentation, and case documentation
- Attend ESI staffing's, review incoming cases, and determine how best to assign new cases within the unit
- Review and assist with complex cases, provide guidance and support
- Identify performance needs of case managers and develop plans for performance improvement
- Provide guidance to case managers and other staff through coaching, motivating, training, and staff development activities
- Bachelor's degree in a human services field
- Child Protection Certificate
- 5-7 years of experience as a certified child welfare case manager in the Florida Dependency system, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience
- Knowledge of theories and practice of child protection, social work, and family assessments
- Knowledge of professional ethics related to child protection and counseling
- Knowledge of physical and behavioral indicators of abuse and neglect
- Knowledge of effective management skills
- Knowledge of interviewing techniques
- Knowledge of court procedures and legal requirements
- Knowledge of methods of collecting, organizing, and analyzing data
- Knowledge of supervision techniques
