As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in providing full wrap-around case management services to our clients and families, while upholding our agency's core values.
Job Summary:The Child Welfare Case Manager will be responsible for accepting cases assigned by the unit supervisor, conducting home visits, developing case plans, and providing support services to families. This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Accept cases assigned by the unit supervisor and conduct home visits within 2 working days of ITR staffing.
- Develop case plans in collaboration with parents, Guardian Ad Litem, foster parents, and other pertinent parties.
- Provide support services to families, including referrals to community resources and services.
- Accurately document all case activities in the Florida Safe Families Network database within 48 hours.
- Attend court activities as necessary and prepare court documentation within required time frames.
- Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field.
- Minimum of one year of relevant experience and certified or become certified within one year.
- Valid Florida Driver's License, Insurance, and ability to transport clients in own personal vehicle.
- Ability to travel locally and out of the area, as needed.
