Job Summary:The Child Welfare Case Manager will be responsible for:
- Providing case management services to clients and families, including developing and implementing case plans, conducting home visits, and coordinating with community resources.
- Collaborating with clients, family members, and other stakeholders to identify strengths and needs, and develop strategies to achieve goals.
- Ensuring timely and accurate documentation of case activities, including progress notes, case plans, and court documentation.
- Participating in court activities, including preparing for, attending, and participating in court hearings.
- Developing and maintaining knowledge of community resources, program eligibility requirements, and key contact persons.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of one year of relevant experience in child welfare or a related field.
- A Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field, with a degree in Social Work preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to drive locally and throughout the state, with a valid Florida driver's license and insurance.
- Certified First Aid/CPR and crisis intervention training.
