Role Summary:
The Admissions Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing the enrollment process for healthcare training programs at National Safety & Health. This position entails managing inquiries from prospective students, guiding them through the admissions pathway, ensuring the submission of all necessary documentation, and maintaining ongoing communication from initial contact through to enrollment.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Student Outreach and Recruitment:
    - Act as the main contact for individuals interested in healthcare courses.
    - Engage in outreach activities, including responding to inquiries through various communication channels.
    - Provide comprehensive information regarding course offerings, schedules, and prerequisites.
  2. Application Oversight:
    - Assist candidates in completing their applications and collecting required documentation.
    - Review and process applications to confirm all criteria are fulfilled.
    - Maintain precise records of all admissions-related activities within the student management system.
  3. Guidance and Communication:
    - Support applicants throughout the admissions process by answering queries and offering assistance.
    - Communicate admission outcomes and subsequent steps to applicants promptly.
    - Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth transition for students from admission to course registration.
  4. Data Management and Reporting:
    - Monitor and report on admissions metrics, including inquiry conversion rates, enrollment figures, and application processing times.
    - Create reports for management to aid in decision-making and enhance processes.
  5. Collaboration:
    - Partner with the Marketing team to devise and implement strategies for student recruitment.
    - Work alongside the Finance team to ensure clear communication regarding tuition and fees.
    - Coordinate with instructors and program directors to align admission processes with course schedules and capacities.
  6. Student Support Services:
    - Provide continuous support to enrolled students, addressing any concerns prior to the commencement of their courses.
    - Assist in organizing orientation sessions and other onboarding activities.
  7. Regulatory Compliance:
    - Ensure that all admissions procedures comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.
    - Stay updated on changes in healthcare education regulations and adjust admissions processes as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in education, business, healthcare, or a related field.
  • Experience in admissions, student services, or a similar role, preferably within a healthcare or educational environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in student management systems and relevant software.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with healthcare education programs and industry standards.
  • Experience in a customer service or student-facing position.
