Role Summary:
The Admissions Coordinator plays a crucial role in overseeing the enrollment process for healthcare programs provided by National Safety & Health. This position entails managing inquiries from prospective students, guiding applicants through the admission procedures, ensuring the submission of all necessary documentation, and maintaining consistent communication with students from their initial inquiry through to enrollment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Outreach and Recruitment:
- Act as the main contact for prospective students interested in healthcare programs.
- Engage in outreach activities, including responding to inquiries through various communication channels.
- Provide comprehensive information regarding course offerings, schedules, and prerequisites. - Application Oversight:
- Assist candidates in completing their applications and collecting required documentation.
- Review and process applications to confirm that all criteria are satisfied.
- Maintain precise records of all admissions-related activities within the student management system. - Guidance and Communication:
- Support applicants throughout the admissions journey, addressing questions and providing assistance.
- Communicate admission outcomes and subsequent steps to applicants promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth transition for students from admission to course registration. - Data Management and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on admissions metrics, including inquiry conversion rates, enrollment figures, and application processing times.
- Create reports for management to guide decision-making and enhance processes. - Collaboration:
- Partner with the Marketing team to develop and execute strategies for student recruitment.
- Work with the Finance team to ensure clear communication regarding tuition and fees.
- Coordinate with instructors and program directors to align admission processes with course schedules and capacity. - Student Support Services:
- Provide ongoing assistance to enrolled students, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise prior to the commencement of their courses.
- Help organize orientation sessions and other onboarding activities. - Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure that all admissions processes comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Stay updated on changes in healthcare education regulations and adjust admissions procedures as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education, business, healthcare, or a related field.
- Experience in admissions, student services, or a similar role, preferably within a healthcare or educational environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in student management systems and relevant software.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with healthcare education programs and industry standards.
- Experience in a customer service or student-facing role.
