The Admissions Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing the enrollment process for healthcare training programs offered by National Safety & Health. This position entails managing inquiries from prospective students, assisting applicants throughout the admission journey, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected, and maintaining consistent communication with students from initial contact to enrollment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Student Recruitment and Outreach:
- Act as the main contact for prospective students interested in healthcare training.
- Engage in outreach activities, including responding to inquiries through various communication channels.
- Provide comprehensive information regarding course offerings, schedules, and prerequisites. - Application Management:
- Support applicants in completing their applications and gathering required documentation.
- Review and process applications to confirm all criteria are fulfilled.
- Maintain precise records of all admissions-related activities within the student management system. - Communication and Guidance:
- Assist applicants throughout the admissions process, addressing questions and offering support.
- Notify applicants of admission decisions and subsequent steps promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a smooth transition for students from admission to course registration. - Data Management and Reporting:
- Monitor and report on admissions metrics, including inquiry conversion rates, enrollment figures, and application processing times.
- Generate reports for management to aid in decision-making and process enhancement. - Collaboration:
- Partner with the Marketing team to create and implement strategies for student recruitment.
- Work alongside the Finance team to ensure clear communication regarding tuition and fees.
- Coordinate with instructors and program directors to align admission processes with course schedules and capacities. - Student Services:
- Provide continuous support to enrolled students, addressing any concerns or issues prior to the commencement of their courses.
- Assist in organizing orientation sessions and other onboarding activities. - Compliance:
- Ensure that all admissions processes comply with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Stay updated on changes in healthcare education regulations and adjust admissions procedures as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education, business, healthcare, or a related field.
- Experience in admissions, student services, or a related role, preferably within a healthcare or educational environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in student management systems and other relevant software.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with healthcare education programs and industry standards.
- Experience in a customer service or student-facing role.
