Customer Service Representative

PrimeSource Building Products Inc., a leading wholesale distributor of building supply products, is seeking a Customer Service Specialist to support its Inside Sales Department.
This role will provide administrative support for the Inside Sales function, including:
- Entering sales team calls and warehouse orders to ensure 99.9% order accuracy
- Processing RMA's and coordinating with operations to determine if returns are necessary
- Entering credits into the system and coordinating with operations to determine if credits are warranted
- Handling Home Depot and Lowes calls and coordinating with operations when necessary
- Coordinating BMG orders with Territory Managers and the BMG support team
- Assisting customers find the will call office to pick up orders
- Acting as a phone tree backup for the sales team, handling overflow calls and customer service calls
- Supporting product literature and marketing materials for customers and the sales team
- Communicating route code changes to the sales team and coordinating with operations on missing route codes on customer files
- Supporting the Inside and Outside Sales Teams with urgency
- Utilizing CRM systems to document calls and customer interactions
- Completing daily work tasks diligently and efficiently
Requirements:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three years of sales or telemarketing experience preferred
- Strong PC skills, including Windows and MS Office
- CRM systems and company reporting software experience
- SAP experience preferred
- Ability to learn new technology quickly
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
