About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team at Wegmans Food Markets. As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their shopping experience is positive and memorable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Participate in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure a visually appealing store and optimal inventory levels
  • Operate a cash register, process transactions, and handle customer payments

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or experience in customer service preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
