Federal Business Development Lead

About the Role:We are seeking a highly experienced Federal Business Development Lead to direct and manage business capture activities, ensuring budget and growth expectations are met for our division. As a key team member, you will be responsible for delivering our proven IT solutions expertise to Federal defense and security customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop plans for securing knowledge and understanding of customer requirements, issues, and needs during the pursuit and capture phases.
- Lead planning sessions with core teams to strategize on win themes aligned with customer critical needs.
- Coordinate meetings with customers, clients, and teammates to develop market insight on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices.
Bachelor's degree in business, IT, or related field. Minimum 8 years of related experience required.
Experience in supporting civilian and military customers and delivering technical solutions to the government. Understanding of U.S. Government procurement and the acquisition process.
Preferred Skills:- Leadership skills to develop, organize, and execute significant capture activities, including building industry teams, assessing win probability, and executing customer call plans.
- Proven track record of successful capture management in multiple Federal markets across Agency organizations and program offices in the IT arena.
- Ability to work through others, get results from teams that do not report directly, and communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
Must hold or be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance. Opportunity to grow into a senior leadership role in our organization.
