We are seeking an experienced Business Development Lead to drive our public sector business development efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in identifying, pursuing, and securing large government contracts, particularly within the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and civilian agencies.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop business development strategies to drive growth in the federal government sector, focusing on DoD, IC, and civilian agencies.
  • Qualify new business opportunities and lead early shaping and positioning, including opportunity gate reviews, competitive landscape analysis, customer engagement activities, teaming strategies, etc.
  • Foster relationships with key stakeholders in government agencies and industry.
  • Collaborate across the organization to deliver best-in-class solutions to customers.
Requirements:
  • Active Secret clearance; Top Secret/SCI eligibility preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in federal government/public sector business development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role and a history of landing major contracts
  • Strong understanding of the federal budgeting and acquisition processes, including DoD and IC-specific procedures, government contracting processes, acquisition trends, and customer buying behaviors
