Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee, guide, and assist Community Managers and Maintenance Technicians within the designated region.
  • Identify and nurture potential leaders within the region to prepare site managers and maintenance technicians for advancement and encourage internal career growth.
  • Administer disciplinary actions and maintain documentation up to and including termination when required.
  • Educate site staff on understanding the property's operating budget, reserve accounts, and financial parameters.
  • Foster a culture of exceptional service while adhering to the organization's Principles & Values.
  • Engage with residents and onsite personnel to address and resolve issues.
  • Promote employee professional development to facilitate internal hiring opportunities.
  • Ensure prompt response times for emergencies and effectively resolve property-related concerns.
  • Collaborate with site managers and maintenance teams to guarantee compliance with monitored programs.
  • Conduct regular site evaluations to ensure adherence to regulations and identify maintenance requirements.
  • Accountable for maintaining high occupancy levels and overseeing rent collection processes.
  • Monitor financial expenditures to ensure sites operate within budgetary constraints.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with affordable housing federal program regulations, including USDA RD, HUD, and LIHTC Program compliance.
  • Capability to develop, document, and enforce formal policies and procedures.
  • Adept at managing multiple priorities and adjusting to evolving timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Ability to effectively coach and supervise direct reports.
  • Provide leadership in managing multifamily housing portfolio operations.
  • Thorough understanding of relevant housing legislation and regulations.
