Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist III to join our team at AdventHealth Sebring Wauchula Lake Placid. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical suites.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing the O.R. suite for surgery by setting up instruments and equipment.
  • Scrubs in OR as needed on PRN basis by setting up sterile instruments and supplies and assisting the surgeon with instruments, sutures and supplies during surgery.
  • Assist in providing a safe, clean and comfortable environment for patients.
  • Assist OR charge to trouble shoot equipment in OR's as requested.
Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited school of surgical technicians.
  • At least three (3) years scrub experience in multi-specialty setting.
  • First Assistant skill a plus.
  • Successful Completion of accredited Surgical Technology program.
  • CST with at least three years of experience.
  • Service Line Coordinator.
  • Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or Certified First Assistant (CFA).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
