We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist III to join our team at AdventHealth Sebring Wauchula Lake Placid. As a key member of our perioperative team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our surgical suites.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in preparing the O.R. suite for surgery by setting up instruments and equipment, and checking specialty cases in advance.
- Ensure case carts are accurately pulled with supplies and instrumentation, and edit procedures cards as needed.
- Scrubs in OR as needed, setting up sterile instruments and supplies, and assisting the surgeon with instruments, sutures, and supplies during surgery.
- Provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Troubleshoot equipment in OR's as requested.
- Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technicians.
- At least three years of scrub experience in a multi-specialty setting.
- First Assistant skill a plus.
- Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- CST with at least three years of experience.
- Service Line Coordinator.
- Certified Surgical Technician (CST) or Certified First Assistant (CFA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
