Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain operating rooms, surgical equipment, and supplies to ensure a safe and efficient environment for surgical procedures.
  • Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nurses during surgical procedures, providing technical support and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of surgical supplies, equipment, and instruments, ensuring that all necessary items are available for procedures.
  • Collaborate with the perioperative team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during surgical procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • 2 years of relevant Surgical Technologist experience.
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Successful completion of an accredited school for Surgical Technology.
  • Certification as Surgical Technician.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
