About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Heartland. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in the preparation and management of surgical equipment, operating room suite readiness, and clinical/technical assistance during operative and invasive procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage surgical equipment and supplies
  • Assist with the setup and maintenance of the operating room suite
  • Provide clinical and technical support during surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with the perioperative registered nurse and operating surgeon to ensure a safe and effective patient/staff environment
Requirements
  • 2 years of relevant Surgical Technologist experience
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Successful completion of an accredited school for Surgical Technology
  • Certification as Surgical Technician
  • BLS Required
