Position Overview
Eastern Sports Management is currently seeking applications for the role of Guest Services Associate at our premier sports and performance facility. The Guest Services Associate serves as the initial point of interaction for visitors, ensuring they receive exceptional service throughout their experience. This role requires a readiness to address a diverse range of inquiries related to available services and activities, including membership options, league information, events, and other amenities offered at the facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and provide comprehensive information about facility services and activities.
- Deliver friendly and courteous service to all visitors.
- Address and resolve guest concerns, with or without supervisory assistance.
- Facilitate the registration process for various services and activities.
- Process payments following established standard procedures.
- Maintain an accurate cash drawer in compliance with property standards.
- Complete shift reports as per standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all necessary waivers for activity participation are completed and filed.
- Utilize front desk technology effectively, including multi-line phone systems and barcode scanners.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisory personnel or management.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding guest information.
- Exhibit strong verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate professionalism in both appearance and interactions with guests.
- Possess excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain composed in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Remain calm and professional during emergency situations.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- No prior experience is necessary; however, experience in guest-facing roles is preferred.
- Language proficiency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for payment processing.
- Proficiency in using a Windows-based workstation and related equipment is essential.
