Guest Services Coordinator - Pet Care Facility

Position Overview

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Guest Services Coordinators to manage our front desk operations. In this role, you will warmly welcome and assist both our human and animal guests. Your responsibilities will include greeting visitors, managing check-ins and check-outs, updating client profiles, and processing payments for services. Additionally, you will conduct informative tours during initial consultations.

Key Responsibilities

Client Interaction and Care

  • Greet pet owners with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone.
  • Provide informative tours for pet parents.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to approve pet enrollments.

Organizational Skills

  • Maintain an organized front desk with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Quickly learn and utilize the company’s point-of-sale system and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Promote and sell daycare, boarding, grooming, and training services.
  • Manage check-ins and check-outs for pets, ensuring all necessary information is documented.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as copying, faxing, and managing confidential information.
  • Process payments accurately and maintain financial records.
  • Perform closing procedures, including balancing cash drawers and preparing revenue reports.

Team Collaboration

  • Follow directions from management and work collaboratively with team members.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and be open to new ideas and changes.

Facility Maintenance

  • Take initiative to ensure that the lobby and all areas of the facility are clean and organized.

Animal Care Knowledge

  • Possess a desire to learn effective management techniques for supervising pets.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of modern, compassionate animal care practices.
  • Be willing to assist in pet care as needed.

Qualifications

  • Availability to open the facility early or close late.
  • Willingness to work 30 to 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
  • Customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Ability to maintain composure while moving quickly throughout the facility.
  • Comfortable working with all breeds of dogs.
