Position Overview
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused coordinators to manage our front desk operations while providing a warm welcome to both our two-legged and four-legged visitors. Responsibilities include greeting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, updating guest profiles, and processing payments for services. Additionally, you will conduct informative tours during introductory sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Client Interaction and Care
- Greet pet owners with warmth and professionalism.
- Deliver exceptional customer service both in person and over the phone.
- Provide informative tours for pet parents.
- Conduct thorough assessments of pet behavior to approve enrollments.
Organizational Skills and Time Management
- Maintain an organized front desk with meticulous attention to detail.
- Quickly learn and utilize the company’s POS system and Microsoft Office applications.
- Promote and sell daycare, boarding, grooming, and training services.
- Manage check-ins and check-outs for daycare and boarding services.
- Handle administrative tasks such as copying, faxing, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Process payments accurately and maintain financial records.
- Perform closing procedures, including cash drawer reconciliation.
Team Collaboration and Supervision
- Work collaboratively with management and team members.
- Maintain a positive attitude and be open to new ideas and changes.
Facility Maintenance and Cleanliness
- Take initiative to ensure the lobby and facility areas are clean and organized.
Animal Care Knowledge
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn effective pet management techniques.
- Possess knowledge of modern, compassionate animal care practices.
- Be prepared to assist in pet care as needed.
Qualifications
- Availability to open early or close late.
- Willingness to work 30 to 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
- Prior customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Ability to maintain composure and a friendly demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working with various dog breeds.
