Position Overview
We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to fill the role of Reception Coordinator. In this position, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a positive and inviting environment. Your duties will include greeting guests, managing check-ins and check-outs, updating guest information, and processing payments.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Interaction and Service
- Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and provide assistance as needed.
- Deliver outstanding customer service both in person and over the phone.
- Conduct informative tours for guests during orientation sessions.
- Perform thorough assessments to ensure guest satisfaction and comfort.
Organizational Skills and Management
- Maintain an orderly reception area with meticulous attention to detail.
- Quickly learn and utilize the company’s point-of-sale system and office software.
- Promote and sell various hospitality services and products.
- Manage guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Process payments accurately and maintain financial records.
- Execute closing procedures, including balancing cash drawers.
Team Collaboration and Communication
- Work collaboratively with management and team members.
- Maintain a positive attitude and adaptability to change.
Facility Maintenance and Cleanliness
- Ensure that the reception area and surrounding spaces are clean and organized.
Animal Care Knowledge
- Possess a willingness to learn about effective animal care practices.
- Be prepared to assist in areas involving animal care as needed.
Qualifications
Requirements for Reception Coordinator:
- Availability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and evenings.
- Commitment to working 30 to 40 hours per week.
- Previous customer service experience is preferred.
- Reliable transportation is essential.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable interacting with various animal breeds.
