Position Overview

We are seeking friendly and customer-focused coordinators to manage our front desk operations while providing care for both our human and canine visitors. Responsibilities include warmly welcoming guests, processing check-ins and check-outs, updating client profiles, and handling payments for services. Additionally, you will conduct informative tours during introductory sessions.

Key Responsibilities

Client Interaction and Care

  • Greet pet owners promptly and with warmth.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Provide informative tours for prospective clients.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of pets to approve their enrollment.

Organizational Skills and Time Management

  • Maintain an organized front desk with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Quickly learn and utilize the company’s POS system and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Promote and sell daycare, boarding, grooming, and training services.
  • Manage check-ins and check-outs for pets, ensuring all necessary information is documented.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as copying, faxing, and managing confidential information.
  • Process payments accurately and maintain financial records.
  • Conduct closing procedures, including balancing cash drawers and maintaining revenue reports.

Team Collaboration and Leadership

  • Work collaboratively with management and team members.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and be open to new ideas and changes.

Facility Maintenance and Cleanliness

  • Take initiative to ensure the lobby and all areas are clean and organized.

Animal Care Knowledge

  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn effective methods for managing and caring for dogs.
  • Possess a desire to understand modern, compassionate animal care techniques.
  • Be prepared to assist in the DayPlay area as needed.

Qualifications

  • Availability to open early or close late.
  • Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
  • Customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Reliable transportation is required.
  • Must be comfortable working with various dog breeds.
