Position Overview
We are seeking friendly and customer-focused coordinators to manage our front desk operations while providing care for both our human and canine visitors. Responsibilities include warmly welcoming guests, processing check-ins and check-outs, updating client profiles, and handling payments for services. Additionally, you will conduct informative tours during introductory sessions.
Key Responsibilities
Client Interaction and Care
- Greet pet owners promptly and with warmth.
- Deliver outstanding customer service, both in-person and over the phone.
- Provide informative tours for prospective clients.
- Conduct thorough assessments of pets to approve their enrollment.
Organizational Skills and Time Management
- Maintain an organized front desk with meticulous attention to detail.
- Quickly learn and utilize the company’s POS system and Microsoft Office applications.
- Promote and sell daycare, boarding, grooming, and training services.
- Manage check-ins and check-outs for pets, ensuring all necessary information is documented.
- Handle administrative tasks such as copying, faxing, and managing confidential information.
- Process payments accurately and maintain financial records.
- Conduct closing procedures, including balancing cash drawers and maintaining revenue reports.
Team Collaboration and Leadership
- Work collaboratively with management and team members.
- Maintain a positive attitude and be open to new ideas and changes.
Facility Maintenance and Cleanliness
- Take initiative to ensure the lobby and all areas are clean and organized.
Animal Care Knowledge
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn effective methods for managing and caring for dogs.
- Possess a desire to understand modern, compassionate animal care techniques.
- Be prepared to assist in the DayPlay area as needed.
Qualifications
- Availability to open early or close late.
- Ability to work 30 to 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
- Customer service experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Must be comfortable working with various dog breeds.
