Role Summary:

The primary focus of this position is to enhance client satisfaction and retention by effectively managing the entire revenue cycle process. This includes overseeing all operational aspects of client accounts, optimizing account performance through detailed analytics, and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations. You will be responsible for addressing client inquiries with a focus on fostering long-term partnerships and ensuring optimal client performance through efficient cash collections and accounts receivable follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple high-profile client accounts through comprehensive revenue cycle and relationship management.
  • Utilize healthcare expertise and analytical skills to enhance client financial performance while advocating for patients and communities.
  • Coordinate internal and external project teams to enrich client experiences through our services and technology.
  • Support clients in maintaining the highest standards of patient care by providing insightful financial and operational metrics.
  • Foster and deepen impactful relationships within client organizations to maximize the value of their engagement with EMS|MC.
  • Identify opportunities for financial improvement and additional revenue streams that align with client values.
  • Encourage a culture of camaraderie and growth through effective communication.
  • Document significant interactions and meetings to ensure alignment with client goals.
  • Manage risks and leverage opportunities during client implementation projects.
  • Monitor contract statuses and proactively engage in efforts to renew beneficial agreements.
  • Engage in continuous personal development through EMS|MC University courses and other learning opportunities.
  • Assist in identifying new client relationships to support the Sales and Marketing department.
  • Participate in company meetings and events to foster collaboration.
  • Serve as a resource for other departments as needed.
  • Conduct training and meetings to ensure a thorough understanding of client needs.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
  • Conduct all responsibilities with professionalism, respect, and in accordance with compliance policies.
  • Consistently embody the vision and values of the company.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Business Administration, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in healthcare billing, client account management, sales, or marketing.
  • Strong internal motivation to stay informed about payer, compliance, and regulatory trends.
  • Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Comfortable with public speaking to diverse audiences.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based applications.

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, healthcare, marketing, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated career progression with increasing responsibilities.
  • Experience in healthcare or EMS billing and revenue cycle management.
  • Familiarity with various technology applications, including MS Project or Smartsheet.
  • General office environment experience with basic office equipment.

Remote Work Requirements:

  • A quiet and distraction-free home office environment.
