Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Marion County. As a key member of our Behavioral Health Services team, you will provide individual and family therapy, conduct mental health assessments, and provide other therapeutic supports to children, adolescents, and transition-age youth in the Woodburn and surrounding communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and transition-age youth.
  • Conduct mental health assessments, including screening for substance use disorders.
  • Document services to meet contract, administrative rule, and billing requirements.
  • Provide consultation, training, and orientation regarding mental health and co-occurring disorders treatment to team members, student interns, and other professionals.
  • Provide case management services to clients and assist with accessing community supports and resources.
Requirements
  • State of Oregon licensure, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPC), or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, recreational therapy, music therapy, art therapy, or a behavioral science field.
  • One year of postgraduate degree experience in the behavioral health field.
Working Conditions

This is a safety-sensitive/special needs position. Final candidates selected for this position will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screen, including testing for marijuana.

Benefits

Marion County offers a generous benefits package to regular employees working 50% or more of the regularly scheduled work week and their eligible dependents. Temporary employees and part-time regular employees working less than 50% of the regularly scheduled work week are not eligible for benefits.
