Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Marion County, OR. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide assessment and treatment services to individuals with serious and persistent mental health conditions and co-occurring substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy services to adults with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders.
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide case management services, including determining individual service needs, eligibility, and appropriateness of services.
  • Collaborate with other providers on the ACT team, including other therapists, skills trainers, case managers, peer support specialists, prescribers, and supported employment and education specialists.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation to provide coverage to support individuals in crisis and to provide consultation and coordination with other agencies and providers.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, recreational therapy, music therapy, art therapy, or a behavioral science field.
  • One year of postgraduate degree experience in the behavioral health field.
  • Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers, or credentialed or registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
Preferred Qualifications
  • LCSW, CSWA, or eligible for LCSW.
  • Experience working with adults with serious mental illnesses and co-occurring disorders.
  • Experience providing individual and group therapy services.
  • Experience providing case management services.
