Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Marion County. As a key member of our team, you will provide mental health therapy to individuals diagnosed with serious and persistent mental illnesses (SPMI) in a community-based setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group therapy services to individuals using evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Collaborative Problem-Solving (CPI).
  • Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide case management services to individuals and their families.
  • Work closely with other providers on the ACT team, including therapists, skills trainers, case managers, peer support specialists, prescribers, and supported employment and education specialists.
  • Participate in after-hours on-call rotation to provide coverage and support to individuals in crisis.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with Federal, State, County, and treatment program requirements.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • One year of postgraduate degree experience in the behavioral health field.
  • Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors or the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers.
  • Credentialed or registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP).
