Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Therapist to join our team at Marion County Health & Human Services. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will provide behavioral health services to individuals with complex needs and diagnoses, working closely with our Enhanced Care Services and Enhanced Care Outreach Services programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessments and treatment of individuals and families, including groups
  • Perform crisis assessment and intervention services and related duties as required
  • Develop and implement specific services in the community
  • Collaborate with other agencies and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive mental health charts
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Recreational Therapy, Music Therapy, Art Therapy, or a behavioral science field
  • One year of full-time, post-Master's degree experience in the behavioral health field (for Mental Health Therapist 2)
  • Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, Licensed by the Oregon Board of Licensed Social Workers, or credentialed or registered through the Mental Health and Addiction Counseling Board of Oregon (MHACBO) as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)
