Key Responsibilities- Patient Relations: Greet patients with a smile, make them feel welcomed, and help to calm any anxieties while completing check-in tasks.
- Front Office Operations: Manage daily activities, including patient relations, telephone coverage, appointment scheduling, registration, and insurance verification.
- Insurance Verification: Verify patient insurance prior to scheduled dates of service and effectively communicate benefits to patients.
- Administrative Tasks: Prepare treatment plans, schedule appointments, check patients out, collect payments, and reconcile daily cash reports.
- Communication: Answer telephone calls, respond to patient inquiries, and maintain a positive and team-focused mindset to ensure a consistently high level of collaboration.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Competencies: Technical skills, customer service, interpersonal skills, oral communications, written communication, quality management, diversity, ethics, organizational support, planning/organizing, professionalism, quality, safety and security, adaptability, attendance/punctuality, and dependability.
