Job Description:
- Warehouse Operations: Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. Ensure that all warehouse processes are efficiently and effectively managed.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, including tracking stock, monitoring inventory levels, and reporting discrepancies. Implement effective inventory management systems to minimize stockouts and overstocking.
- Shipping and Receiving: Coordinate and manage shipping and receiving activities, including scheduling, tracking, and reporting on shipments. Ensure that all shipments are accurately labeled and processed in a timely manner.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure that they are performing at their best. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI): Drive company commercial vehicles to transport and deliver goods to designated locations, ensuring safe and compliant delivery practices. Collaborate with VMI customers to ensure accurate and timely shipments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Leadership Experience: 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Warehouse Operations: 2+ years of experience in warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
- Inventory Management: Experience with inventory management systems and processes.
- Shipping and Receiving: Experience with shipping and receiving operations, including scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
- Team Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, providing guidance, training, and feedback.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
