Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and positive individual to serve as a Guest Services Representative for our Samaritan Inn in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. As a Guest Services Representative, you will have the opportunity to serve guests in all areas of the Samaritan Inn, including the front desk and housekeeping.

A Day in the Life of a Guest Services Representative

At Samaritan's Purse, the Gospel really is the center of all we do We start each day with a time of devotion and spend time praying for each other and our staff and volunteers who serve around the globe.

In the role of Guest Services Representative, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
  • Greet, check-in, and check-out guests when they arrive and depart the premises, distribute keys and room assignments, and share information about amenities as needed
  • Maintain cleaning schedule priorities and clean guest rooms thoroughly per Samaritan Inn standards as needed
  • Assist the front desk and housekeeping on an as-needed basis
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Experience
  • A high school diploma or GED with at least 3 years of customer service experience or an equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure and/or in emergency situations
  • Excellent customer service skills in attentiveness, listening, and appropriate questioning to determine the level of service needed
Job Location: North Wilkesboro, North Carolina

Type: This position would need to work a variety of shifts based on need.

Language Requirement: Fluency in English (required)
