Position Overview:
The Rooms Operations Leader serves as the strategic business authority for the management of rooms operations, stepping in as the General Manager when necessary. This role encompasses oversight of various departments including Front Office, Retail, Recreation, Housekeeping, and Security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Rooms management team to formulate an operational strategy that aligns with the overarching business objectives.
- Guest Satisfaction: Analyze guest feedback and satisfaction metrics to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
- Operational Oversight: Conduct regular inspections of public spaces in conjunction with Engineering and Housekeeping teams.
- Team Development: Ensure fair treatment of employees, celebrate achievements, and foster a culture of exceptional service.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in meetings with property owners to discuss operational and financial performance.
- Financial Management: Guide the operations team in effectively managing occupancy rates, labor costs, and other controllable expenses.
- Guest Experience Management: Cultivate an environment in all Rooms and Food and Beverage areas that consistently meets or exceeds guest expectations.
Qualifications:
Candidates should possess either a 2-year degree in Business Administration, Hotel Management, or a related field with 4 years of relevant experience, or a 4-year degree with 2 years of applicable experience in guest services or management operations.
