Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Night Auditor to join our team at The Westin Hilton Head Island Resort & Spa. As a Night Auditor, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, as well as providing exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete end-of-day activities, including posting charges to accounts, running night audit backup, and rolling the date.
  • Process all payment types, including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit.
  • Process adjustment vouchers, paid-outs, correction vouchers, and miscellaneous charges.
  • Print contingency lists to have a record of all guests in case of emergency.
  • Sell rooms to guests without reservations based on availability.
  • Operate the telephone switchboard station, process requests for wake-up calls, and advise guests of any messages.
  • Complete the Room Rate Variance Report.
  • Process all guest check-ins and assign rooms.
  • Activate or reissue room keys using the electronic key machine.
  • Count the bank at the end of the shift and secure the bank.
  • Balance and drop receipts according to Accounting specifications.
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Less than 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience.
  • No license or certification required.
