Job Overview

The Foster Home Recruiter plays a pivotal role in the onboarding and recruitment of new foster parents for The Children's Village's FFC program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vet prospective foster parents for program eligibility
  • Participate in recruitment activities and respond to inquiries
  • Register prospective foster parents for orientation and training sessions
  • Conduct foster parent orientations and other trainings as needed
  • Collect and track mandated documentation for foster parent licensure
  • Represent The Children's Village at community functions and events
  • Communicate agency values and expectations to prospective foster families
  • Conduct conversations, orientations, and trainings in a language other than English

Requirements:

  • BA/BS with one year of experience in child welfare preferred
  • AA or equivalent credits with two years of experience in child welfare will also be considered
  • Training and/or homefinding experience preferred
  • MAPP and/or TRIPP certification preferred
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, writing, and computer skills
  • Fluent in English and another language
