Position Summary for Operator – Assembler III

The Operator – Assembler III plays a crucial role in operating and managing designated equipment and machinery to produce parts or products for the medical device industry. This position also entails conducting quality inspections, assembly, packaging, labeling, and the movement of products.

Available Shifts:

  • 1st shift: 6:30am-3pm Mon-Fri

Key Responsibilities

Duties of the Operator – Assembler III

  • Inspect, trim, clean, and package products according to customer specifications.
  • Utilize the Bill of Material (BOM) to gather necessary materials.
  • Comprehend and apply Operational Quality Inspections (OQI's).
  • Employ measuring tools such as gauge pins, calipers, and tape measures.
  • Mix chemicals and materials as required.
  • Ensure the quality of the produced items.
  • Conduct periodic checks on output quality.
  • Complete assigned tasks through various processes including hot stamping, sonic welding, pad printing, resistance welding, and silicone back filling.
  • Promptly identify and report faulty equipment.
  • Execute assembly and secondary production tasks.

Requirements for Operator – Assembler III

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience with microscope usage.
  • Familiarity with clean room environment procedures and regulations.
  • Knowledge of machinery and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, prints, and IP's.
  • Basic math skills and concepts.
  • Proficient in reading, comprehending, and documenting work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and dexterity.
  • Capability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in a cleanroom setting.
  • 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
