Position Summary: Operator – Assembler
The Operator – Assembler plays a crucial role in managing and operating designated machinery and equipment to produce parts or products intended for the medical device industry. This position also encompasses responsibilities related to quality assurance, assembly, packaging, labeling, and the transportation of products.
Available Shifts:
2nd shift: 2:30pm-11pm Mon-FriKey Responsibilities
Duties of the Operator – Assembler
Conduct inspections, trimming, cleaning, and packaging of products to meet customer specifications Utilize the Bill of Material (BOM) to gather necessary materials Interpret and comprehend Operational Quality Inspections (OQI's) Employ measuring tools (gauge pins, calipers, tape measure) effectively Prepare chemical mixtures and materials as needed Ensure the quality standards of the produced items Perform regular checks on production output Execute assigned tasks involving hot stamping, sonic welding, pad printing, resistance welding, and silicone back filling Promptly identify and report faulty equipment Carry out assembly and secondary production tasksRequirements for the Operator – Assembler
Proficiency in using a microscope Familiarity with clean room environment protocols and regulations Understanding of machinery and equipment operation Capability to read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and IP's Basic mathematical skills and concepts Ability to comprehend, follow, and document work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training materials Mechanical aptitude and dexterity Strong hand-eye coordination Capacity to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilitiesPreferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Experience in a cleanroom setting Over 2 years of experience in medical device assembly or manufacturing Ability to read and understand technical blueprintsWork Environment at Cretex Medical
