Sales Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Executive to join our team in the Corporate SMB Tax division. As a Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving business objectives and obtaining commercial targets within defined commercial accounts.
You will work in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment, proactively searching for leads and generating sales to help continue to develop this fast-growing business unit. This is a team-oriented group that promotes innovative thought and idea sharing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly responsible for finding and building opportunities within commercial accounts in a defined territory
- Utilize complex sales skills to guide prospects/clients through their purchasing decisions of Thomson Reuters products and services
- Manage sales cycle from identifying prospects, working with numerous internal teams to coordinate appropriate resources, all the way through closing the deal
- Execute utilization of OneSource sales methodology
- Manage relationships of customers post initial sale for upsell
- Engage and build trusted relationships with Director, V, and C level executives
- Maintain regular cadence with management and update timely all activities in our CRM (SFDC) and other applicable systems and tools
- Meet/exceed quarterly and annual quota targets
- Provide territory market and competitive information to Thomson Reuters for internal business decisions and positions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in sales
- 5+ years' experience in consultative sales, closing complex software and services sales, and maintaining customer satisfaction
- Knowledge in accounting/tax acumen is a plus
- Experience selling consulting/professional services engagements with proven track record to balance prospecting, existing customer sales and upselling
- Experience creating accurate sales forecasts and reports to inform management's strategic decision-making
- Self-motivated and strong organizational and time management skills to meet urgent timelines
- Ability to conduct small and large group product demonstrations and other presentations
- Strong C-suite engagement skills and track record
- Proven ability to execute innovative sales strategies
- Experience working in a result-oriented, fast-paced, team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience and proven success at leading complex, strategic negotiations, and delivery on subsequent agreements
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong experience with email, SFDC, MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Zoom, and other communication platforms, expense management and travel systems
